At The Liberal Catholic Church of St Stephens International we are a small sacramental Christian family: rooted in the ancient Catholic tradition yet modern and open in outlook.
We welcome all who seek God, especially those who have felt pushed to the margins – young people, rough sleepers, people in addiction or recovery, disabled people and the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Our life is shaped by the Great Commandments and Great Commission of Jesus: to love God, to love our neighbour, and to share the good news in word and action.
We currently serve communities in Wales, Sweden and elsewhere through local chaplaincies, online worship and practical outreach.
Every person is made in the image of God. We welcome people of every background identity and story, seeking to reflect the true meaning of Catholic: a love that is universal.
Leadership here is shared. We invite lay and ordained people to serve together, listening to all perspectives so decisions are shaped by lived experience not status or roles.
We serve neighbourhoods, not just pews. Our ministry stands with rough sleepers, those in addiction or recovery, disabled people and all who feel rejected or often forgotten.

Bishop Ryan leads The Liberal Catholic Church of St. Stephens International as Presiding Bishop and Global Diocesan Bishop. Living in South-West Wales with his husband, he campaigns on social justice and disability advocacy, engages with governments on policy, and offers pastoral care rooted in compassion and an inclusive Catholic faith that welcomes everyone. His ministry links parish life with wider community work.

Father Morgan serves as Monsignor to the Primate, Chancellor of the LCCSSI and Dean of the Seminary. Based in Delsbo, Sweden, he welcomes new clergy partners, supports LGBTQIA2S+ people and those living with HIV, and designs beautiful vestments and icons that enrich worship and help many to pray with beauty, dignity and hope. He also works with refugees and sees all his ministry as loving service to all God’s people.

Kristoffer serves as a non-clerical member of the Church Council. Living in Delsbo, Sweden, with his husband Father Morgan, he brings his experience as a nurse and his calm, reflective spirituality to the life of the church, helping to shape decisions, support pastoral care, and ensure that lay voices are heard and valued. He reminds the church that everyday kindness, listening and simple prayer matter deeply to God.

Don serves as Equality and Diversity Ambassador and a member of the Church Council. Living in the Czech Republic, he teaches English and draws on his experience as a former Pentecostal preacher. His book “Asking Answers, Finding Questions” reflects his journey in faith, and he helps the church to welcome questioning, hopeful seekers. His story shows that honest spirituality and LGBTQ+ affirmation belong together too.

His ministry supports clergy and lay leaders in their callings across the province.
