Preparing for episcopal ministry
As Bishop-Elect of the Nordic Territories, Reverend Morgan has been designated for episcopal leadership and is preparing for a ministry of oversight, pastoral care and spiritual guidance.
This vocation carries responsibility for supporting the Church’s clergy and faithful, safeguarding its life and mission, and encouraging ministry exercised with dignity, integrity and charity.
Formation for Christian service
As Director of Formation, Reverend Morgan supports the preparation and development of those exploring ministry within the Church.
Formation encompasses more than academic study. It includes spiritual maturity, pastoral understanding, ecclesiastical discipline and a deepening commitment to Christian service. His work helps prepare future clergy for the responsibilities of ordained ministry.
Service to the Presiding Bishop
As Chancellor to the Presiding Bishop, Reverend Morgan assists with matters concerning the Church’s governance, administration and wider affairs.
This office calls for discretion, sound judgement and an understanding of the responsibilities attached to ecclesiastical leadership.
A ministry of stewardship
